How to Contribute

1. Send - If you have a camera phone and a data/messaging plan with your cell phone carrier*, you can send photos and videos using media messaging (MMS) to: news@shootak.com (and more).
* Standard carrier rates may apply depending on your plan.

2. Download - Shortly, we will be releasing an application that you can download to your telephone that will automate the process of sending in content. During registration, please let us know what phone carrier and phone model you are using, and we will notify you when the application for your phone is available.

3. Upload - Finally, if you do not have a camera phone or have other great photos to contribute, you can participate by creating an account and uploading from the Web. Images and videos may be up to 10mb in size. For images, submit JPEG, PNG, or GIF files. For videos, we recommend MPEG-4, Quicktime, AVI, or WMV.

If you have problems sending photos or videos from your mobile phone, please contact your phone carrier for instructions on how to use this function on your specific model of phone. While the process is quite simple, it may vary slightly on all phone models and carriers. Please note that standard phone carrier rates may apply when sending in photos and videos depending on the service plan that you have selected with your carrier.
